Before You Go

Airline Travel
Air transportation to Rancho Palos Verdes is serviced through Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) or Long Beach Airport (LGB).  Rancho Palos Verdes is located 20 miles south of LAX and 20 miles north of Long Beach Airport.

Ground Transportation
For pre-arranged sedan, limo or van services, Avalon Transportation (Ph: 310-391-6161) is recommended.  Taxi cabs from both LAX and LGB will cost approximately $70-$80 each way and does not include tax, tip and any fuel surcharge. Taxi service can be arranged from Terranea by the concierge department and has an average wait time of 10-20 minutes.

Rental cars are available from most major car rental companies. Car rental service counters and ready/return lots are located via shuttle from the airport terminals. For driving directions to Terranea Resort click here

SuperShuttle also arranges for shared ride van service pick up and drop off. Rates for the SuperShuttle are $30 each way to and from LAX and $32 each way to and from LGB.

Weather
The average high temperature in Rancho Palos Verdes in October is 75 degrees Fahrenheit; the average low is 57 degrees Fahrenheit. As the Resort is on the water it can be breezy at night and a light jacket or sweater is recommended for evening activities.
