WASHINGTON, D.C., November 6, 2008—The Council for Responsible Nutrition (CRN) today announced 2009 dates and location for The Conference: CRN’s Annual Symposium for the Dietary Supplement Industry, taking place Wednesday, Oct. 21 through Saturday, Oct. 24, 2009.  The Workshop: CRN’s Day of Science, will be held immediately prior to the start of The Conference on Wednesday, Oct. 21. The events will intersect with a dessert reception on Oct. 21. Both events will take place at the Terranea Resort in Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif., approximately 20 miles south of Los Angeles International Airport and approximately 20 miles north of Long Beach Airport.  Terranea Resort is a brand new, luxury, oceanfront resort that will open in Summer 2009.

“With so many conference options for our industry, we hope that scheduling The Conference and The Workshop back-to-back will give potential attendees a cost-effective way to get a full-day of science followed by the high caliber speakers and networking opportunities offered by The Conference,” said Steve Mister, president & CEO, CRN.  “This combination gives people who have previously attended The Workshop but not The Conference, and vice versa, an opportunity to try them both and save on airfare and travel time.”
