CRN ADDS TWO NEW MEMBERS TO ASSOCIATION’S ROSTER

WASHINGTON, D.C., February 18, 2009 — The Council for Responsible Nutrition (CRN), the dietary supplement industry’s leading trade association, is pleased to announce the addition of the following two members to its roster: voting member—USANA Health Sciences, Inc., headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah; and associate member—NutriCompliance of Boca Raton, Fla.

USANA Health Sciences, Inc. develops and manufactures high-quality, scientifically based nutritional supplements and personal care products that are sold directly to Preferred Customers and Associates in over fourteen markets.  These markets include the United States, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Hong Kong, Japan, Taiwan, Korea, Singapore, Mexico, Malaysia, and the Philippines.

NutriCompliance offers a wide range of compliance solutions to small to mid-sized companies in the consumer health and dietary supplement business, including services for adverse event reporting, good manufacturing practices, structure-function claims development and product development.
