THREE NEW COMPANIES BECOME CRN MEMBERS

WASHINGTON, D.C., August 10, 2009 — The Council for Responsible Nutrition (CRN), the dietary supplement industry’s leading trade association, is pleased to announce the addition of the following three members to its roster: Voting Member—FutureCeuticals, Inc. of Momence, Ill.; and Associate Members—Emerson Ecologics of Bedford, N.H.; and Patton Boggs of Washington, D.C.

FutureCeuticals, Inc. is a vertically integrated biotechnology company specializing in manufacturing, processing, growing and marketing scientifically innovative nutraceuticals.  The company has an extensive line of probiotics, nutritional supplements, food based antioxidants and beverage ingredients.

Patton Boggs is a law firm that represents both domestic and international consumer product companies engaged in manufacturing and marketing traditional and high profile branded consumer products.  The firm began with a strong concentration in international and trade law, and is now a full-service firm with a national presence in every major area of legal representation including a food and drug division, under which dietary supplements fall.
