As vice president of CRT/tanaka’s Health Practice, Charlotte has many years of direct health care experience.  She heads the Life…supplemented consumer campaign for the Council for Responsible Nutrition, which promotes the three pillars of health. Charlotte also is senior advisor for Sage Products, Inc. and Novation and leads the Health Practice promotion efforts.

Charlotte was on the branding team for the American Physical Therapy Association and advises Cheyenne Regional Medical Center on marketing, communications and advertising. She led the team that helped Bon Secours Richmond Health System receive approval for a certificate of public need for St. Francis Medical Center, which was hard fought by a for-profit competitor. She assisted with national media relations for the robotic surgery program at University Health Systems of Eastern Carolina, a nurse recruitment campaign for Bon Secours Hampton Roads Health System and a successful member retention campaign for Doctors Insurance Reciprocal.

Before joining CRT/tanaka, she was vice president of communications for the Virginia Hospital & Healthcare Association. Charlotte also served as director of corporate communications for The Reciprocal Group and was director of public relations and marketing for Chippenham Medical Center

She was inducted into the Kappa Tau Alpha journalism honor society and was named to the slate of Outstanding Young Women of America. She has received numerous awards for her work, including the PRSA Health Academy’s Innovation Award.

Charlotte earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Va. She also received a master’s in mass communications from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Va.

Her favorite ways to staying healthy are walking, hiking, bicycling and practicing yoga.
