CRN Annual Golf Tournament
It’s the yearly get-together on the green where fun and competition combine for a great afternoon of networking and prizes. This year, CRN’s Annual Golf Tournament will be played on the Trump National Golf Course. Located just six minutes from the Terranea Resort, Trump National is perched high above the jagged California cliffs, taking advantage of one of the most incredible views in the world from every hole. Noted as the most expensive golf course ever built, over $250 million dollars has been spent to ensure its prominence. Gleaming white sand lines the walls of the massive bunkers, expansive lakes protect tucked away greens, and magnificent waterfalls cascade down at Trump National. The Donald J. Trump Signature Design course tempts golfers to take risks and rewards well-placed shots. The layout challenges both experienced golfers and novices to the best of their abilities. Trump National truly stands as a testament to the greatness of golf. It’s the course you’ve always wanted to play; now it’s your chance to play it! Boxed lunch will be provided.
Details
Time: Golfers should meet at the hotel’s front entrance at 12:30 pm for transportation to the course. Play will begin at 1:00 pm with consecutive tee times (time subject to change) The average duration of play on the course is 4.5 hours. Transportation will be provided back to Terranea.
What to wear: Appropriate golf attire is required
Additional info: TaylorMade Burner Rental Clubs with two sleeves of golf balls are available for $80, which can be paid on-site at the Pro Shop.

Sea Kayaking
Embark on a sea kayaking excursion right in front of the hotel’s Pacific Ocean views. Experience the stunning reefs full of marine life including bottlenose dolphins, sea lions, leopard sharks, and bat rays, all while paddling through the Catalina Channel’s famous underwater reserve. Certified guided tours are done in stable sit-on-top ocean kayaks and include a lesson and all necessary equipment. A portion of the proceeds are donated to the Marine Mammal Care center on the group behalf and helps with the rescue and care of injured Marine Wildlife off the California Coast.

What to wear: Comfortable clothing, Teva-style sandals, made to get wet (these can also be provided, please let us know in advance)
Weight limit: There is a maximum weight capacity per boat of 275 lbs. per person. Kayaks are 2-person tandem kayaks. This is an invigorating and moderately athletic sport.

Painting by the Sea
Unleash your inner Monet. Once you cast your eyes on the beauty of the Terranea landscape with its breathtaking sea views, you’ll be inspired to paint your own masterpiece. The works of the local artisans of the Portuguese Bend Artist Colony displayed within the Terranea will further inform your perspective, demonstrating the uniquely Californian style of en plein air painting. Translated from French to mean “in the open air,” this is just how guests will enjoy painting alongside a skilled art instructor during this special session. With helpful tips and creative expression, you will be able to create individual works of art that will undoubtedly capture Terranea’s unique surroundings.
