Registration Now Open for The Workshop and The Conference at Arizona’s Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain—Allison Levy of AdvoCare to Chair Annual Conference

Washington, D.C., July 12, 2017—The Council for Responsible Nutrition (CRN), the leading trade association for the dietary supplement and functional food industry, today announced that registration is now open for its annual events, The Workshop: CRN’s Day of Science and The Conference: CRN’s Annual Symposium for the Dietary Supplement and Functional Food Industry. CRN will hold its industry-wide educational and networking events Oct. 18–21 at the Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain, in Marana, Arizona (near Tucson). This year’s conference chair is AdvoCare’s Allison Levy, a member of CRN’s Board of Directors and chair of CRN’s Political Action Committee.

The Workshop, Wednesday, Oct. 18, is a daylong symposium focused on relevant scientific discussions of dietary supplements and nutrition topics. The day closes with a networking reception that kicks off the beginning of The Conference. Top-level sessions covering regulation, business and marketing, government affairs, and more will take place at The Conference, and speakers will be announced throughout the summer. The Conference also offers ample opportunities to connect with industry colleagues and, this year, organized group activities will be offered alongside the annual golf tournament on the afternoon of Friday, Oct. 20. The Conference runs through Saturday morning, Oct. 21, with the popular “Breakfast With…” session speaker to be announced.

CRN offers four flexible registration options: 1) The Workshop/The Conference package; 2) The Workshop only; 3) The Conference only; 4) The Workshop and first day of The Conference. Attendees must register first in order to be eligible for a room in CRN’s block at the Ritz-Carlton. Attendees are urged to book their hotel room promptly, once registered, as rooms are subject to availability and have historically sold out at CRN conference host hotels.

The Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain, is in Marana, Arizona, near Tucson, surrounded by the Sonoran Desert and framed against the Tortolita Mountains. Air travel options include: Tucson International Airport, approximately an hour away (32 miles); Marana Regional Aiport, about 30 minutes away (17 miles); and Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, approximately two hours away (120 miles).
