THREE MORE COMPANIES JOIN CRN

WASHINGTON, D.C., July 21, 2003 ‚ The Council for Responsible Nutrition (CRN), one of the dietary supplement industryís leading trade associations, announced the addition of three new member companies as voting members. They are General Nutrition Centers, Inc. (GNC) of Pittsburgh, Pa.; Nashai Biotech, LLC of Nashville, Tenn.; and Pulse Nutrition Solutions, Inc. of Deerfield, Ill.

"CRN looks forward to working with GNC, Nashai Biotech, and Pulse Nutrition Solutions and we value their commitment to providing consumers with high quality, safe and beneficial dietary supplements," said Annette Dickinson, Ph.D., president, CRN.

General Nutrition Centers, Inc. is a specialty manufacturer, marketer and provider of vitamins and other supplements with over 5,000 retail outlets throughout the world.

Nashai Biotech, LLC specializes in the research, development, and procurement of dietary supplements, focusing on the conversion of raw materials into new generation materials.

Pulse Nutrition Solutions, Inc., a subsidiary of Baxter International, is a manufacturer of a line of bottled water enhanced by nutritional supplements. The product line includes a heart health, a women's health, and a men's health formula.
