CRN Welcomes Six New Members

WASHINGTON, D.C., March 5, 2013—The Council for Responsible Nutrition (CRN), the dietary supplement industry’s leading trade association, is pleased to announce the addition of six new members: Voting Members—Evolva Nutrition, Inc., headquartered in Larkspur, Calif.; and NutraGenesis LLC, headquartered in Brattleboro, VT.; Associate Members—American Nurse Practitioner Foundation, headquartered in Austin, Texas; HFL Sport Science, Inc., headquartered in Lexington, KY.; Intertek Cantox, headquartered in Mississauga, Canada; and Loeb & Loeb LLP, headquartered in New York.  

Evolva Holding SA (listed on the Swiss stock exchange) and its subsidiary Evolva Nutrition, Inc., discover and provide innovative, sustainable ingredients for health, nutrition and wellness. Evolva recently acquired the rights to the resveratrol business formerly owned by Fluxome Science A/S in Denmark.

NutraGenesis, LLC, is a provider of proprietary, branded nutraceutical ingredients that are designed for the dietary supplement, food and beverage marketplaces. The firm, which touts its advanced nutritional technology and marketing skills, is dedicated to commercializing proprietary ingredients geared at health and wellness. 

The American Nurse Practitioner Foundation is a nonprofit public health charity aimed at assisting in the development and support of nurse practitioners through scholarships, grants, research support and health education initiatives, like “Simply Health in Practice,” and other health education campaigns. 

HFL Sport Science, Inc., founded in 1963, is an accredited and world-renowned sports doping control and research laboratory that provides high quality testing of ingredients and finished products for banned substances in sport. 

Intertek Cantox is a consultancy that has helped the food and dietary supplement industries resolve complex scientific and regulatory issues for over 25 years.  Their services include the assessment of exposures to foods and food constituents, the determination of food/food ingredient safety, the evaluation of the sufficiency of data to support health claims, and the development and management of pre-clinical and clinical research programs.  Intertek Cantox is committed to developing strategic regulatory compliance plans that will facilitate regulatory and scientific approvals, globally.
