Marketing Whiz Explores Evolving Consumer Behavior at The Conference—John Gerzema to Focus on Reshaping the Shopping Experience

Washington, D.C., August 17, 2016—The Council for Responsible Nutrition (CRN), the leading trade association for the dietary supplement and functional food industry, is pleased to announce that John Gerzema, best-selling author and social trends/data analyst, will present at The Conference: CRN’s Annual Symposium for the Dietary Supplement Industry, taking place in tandem with The Workshop: CRN’s Day of Science, October 26–29 at the Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel, in Dana Point, California. 

In Mr. Gerzema’s Thursday morning session, “Consumer Trends: How Technology and Consumerism are Reshaping the Shopping Experience,” he will identify prevailing social changes among consumers and propose ways in which companies can tailor their business models to adapt to new trends and demands.

Mr. Gerzema is a celebrated author, strategist, speaker, and consultant. His work has made best-seller lists of the New York Times, The Washington Post, the Wall Street Journal, and many others. Labeled a “marketing whiz,” his TED talks have been viewed by thousands of people and he was named one of the “Must-Follow Marketing Minds on Twitter” by Forbes Magazine.
