As dietary supplements and nutraceuticals continue to surge in popularity, there has also been an increase in the amount of packaging required for these products. Unfortunately, much of this packaging is not recyclable and is disposed of in landfills or incinerated.

To combat this problem, many nutraceutical suppliers are turning to Klockner Pentaplast (kp) and kpEnhance RM1 recyclable blister packaging, as a more sustainable solution. kp’s new blister packaging is made from a special PET film that can easily be recycled directly into the RIC 1 stream.

To further enhance the economic circularity of the material, kpEnhance RM1 is produced with a minimum of 30% post-consumer, recycled content—material from Prevented Ocean Plastic which is certified post-consumer plastic collected from coastal areas at risk of ocean plastic pollution.

  • Use of kpEnhance RM1 blister films not only helps keep plastics from entering our oceans—its recyclability can help increase consumer confidence in the brands that use it.

Consumers are becoming more environmentally conscious and are more likely to choose products with sustainable packaging options.

  • Dietary supplement and nutraceutical companies can demonstrate their commitment to sustainability and attract more environmentally conscious customers by using kpEnhance RM1 recyclable blister packaging.

  • kpEnhance RM1 recyclable blister packaging is a promising solution for nutraceutical companies looking to reduce their environmental impact.

By investing in sustainable packaging practices, companies can demonstrate their commitment to the planet and attract more environmentally conscious consumers.
