His current research interests are focused on cellular biology, exercise physiology, and natural products.

Mr. Komorowski received his undergraduate bachelor’s degree from SUNY Oneonta in biology, a master’s degree from LIU at CW Post in medical biology, and an advanced business certificate from UCONN’s Graduate School of Business. He has developed >50 products marketed as dietary supplements, medical foods, medical devices, and pharmaceutical drugs. Mr. Komorowski is an active member of many nutrition and pharmaceutical organizations, and is a Board Member at the Council for Responsible Nutrition and for the International Society of Sports Nutrition.

Mr. Komorowski is currently the Chief Science Officer at JDS Therapeutics, LLC and its nutrition ingredient subsidiary, Nutrition 21, LLC. Samantha Clayton is the Vice President, Worldwide Sports Performance and Fitness at Herbalife Nutrition. A married mother of four, including a set of triplets, she understands the importance of finding balance through living a healthy and active lifestyle. Samantha competed in the Sydney Olympic games in 2000 and specialized in the 200-meter sprint and the 100-meter relay. With AFAA and ISSA certifications under her belt and a love of science that she honed while completing her Applied Chemistry degree, she understands how the human body works and how little changes can make a big difference. With an effervescent personality, Samantha makes fitness an achievable goal for everybody, whether they’re already a regular gym-goer or happy sitting on the sofa. Protecting Against Adulteration in Sports Nutrition Products and Ingredients

Oliver Catlin is the president and co-founder of BSCG (Banned Substances Control Group), a leading international third-party certification and testing provider with specialties in banned substances in sport, label claims and contaminants, and GMP compliance. With a background in sports anti-doping testing, he is widely regarded as a thought leader in the field of certification of nutrition products and dietary supplements.

Adulteration comes in many shapes and sizes with sport nutrition products often fingered as a culprit. He will explore the different types of adulteration and how brands and consumers can avoid the concerns. A special focus on adulteration in the COVID-19 era will be considered.

Dr. Huber focuses on CRN’s scientific affairs and nutrition policy activities that support the appropriate role for dietary supplements and functional food in health promotion and disease prevention. He has 20 years of experience in the dietary supplement industry leading product development, scientific and technical affairs, clinical research, and regulatory affairs. In his prior roles, he has been a leader in product innovation and scientific initiatives. Most recently, Dr. Huber held the position of global R&D director, VMS with RB (Reckitt Benckiser). Prior to RB, he held senior scientific & technical leadership roles at prominent companies within the dietary supplement industry.

Dr. Huber received his doctorate of naturopathic medicine from Bastyr University in Bothell, WA, completed his residency at Cancer Treatment Centers of America in Zion, IL, and earned his MBA from University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
