New Health Care Practitioner Forum’s inaugural call drives action on NAC

CRN’s new Health Care Practitioner Forum (HCPF) convened more than 250 people for its first call last week, including members of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians (AANP).

Meeting attendees learned about CRN’s Vitamin D & Me! initiative as well the Supplement OWL label registry. In addition, CRN’s Megan Olsen provided an update on the association’s efforts to protect consumer access to N-Acetyl-L cysteine (NAC) dietary supplement products. 

Olsen pointed to NAC action resources on CRN’s website and urged participants to contact their congressional representatives and FDA about this important issue.
