Contact Your Legislator: Allow Multivitamins to be Purchased with SNAP Benefits


DECEMBER 2018 UPDATE: The SNAP Vitamin and Mineral Improvement provision, which would have allowed recipients of the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) to use their benefits to purchase a multivitamin-mineral dietary supplement, was not included in the final Agriculture Improvement Act of 2018 ("Farm Bill"), as there was no comparable provision in the Senate’s version of the Farm Bill.
