Registration Now Open for ‘The Conference’ and ‘The Workshop’—CRN’s premier industry-wide events to take place at the Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel, Oct. 16–19

Washington, D.C., June 12,  2018—The Council for Responsible Nutrition (CRN), the leading trade association for the dietary supplement and functional food industry, today announced that registration is open for its annual industry-wide educational and networking events—The Workshop: CRN’s Day of Science, taking place Oct. 16, and The Conference: CRN’s Annual Symposium for the Dietary Supplement Industry, taking place Tuesday, Oct. 16, through Friday, Oct. 19, at the Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel, in Dana Point, California.

The Tuesday-through-Friday schedule is a notable shift made in response to attendee feedback, with the popular “Breakfast With…” session now taking place Friday, featuring presidential historian Jon Meecham, a Pulitzer Prize winner and contributor to TIME and The New York Times Book Review. Renowned scientist Dean Ornish, M.D., founder and president of Preventive Medicine Research Institute, will speak on the morning of Thursday, Oct. 18. Additional speakers and sessions will be announced here: www.crnusa.org/2018events.

“CRN’s events are known for thought-provoking speakers and discussions that drive change, industry-wide,” Steve Mister, president and CEO, CRN observed. “We invite dietary supplement and functional food industry stakeholders—both CRN members and non-members—to join us in October, see what changes are afoot, and be part of that evolution.”

CRN offers four flexible registration options: 1) The Workshop/The Conference package; 2) The Workshop only; 3) The Conference only; and 4) The Workshop and first day of The Conference. Attendees must first register for CRN’s evens to be eligible for accommodations in CRN’s room block at the Ritz-Carlton. Attendees are urged to book their hotel room promptly, once registered, as rooms are subject to availability and have historically sold out at CRN conference host hotels.

The Workshop and The Conference also present valuable opportunities for companies to showcase their services before industry decision makers via sponsorships. Please contact Carl Hyland at 202-204-7674 or chyland@crnusa.org for details.
