Webinar TODAY: 'COVID-19 and Supplement Sales Update: Examining Market Data and Attitudes as Consumers Continue Their Wellness Journeys'

What should retailers make of the surge in supplement sales sparked by the COVID-19 pandemic? Will this immediate consumer response grow the base of wellness warriors for the long term? Learn best practices for hosting virtual events

While so many of us have been working from home in an effort to #flattenthecurve, everything from daily interactions to large industry-wide events have gone virtual. CRN’s annual Communications and Media Outreach Committee in-person meeting is no exception—in May, we quickly pivoted to bring our members, “Wellness from Washington,” a two-hour virtual event highlighting topics, resources and tools relevant to the current crisis. Virtual learning expert Cindy Huggett provided attendees insights on best practices for leading and facilitating online events, addressing questions such as “How do you keep everyone engaged when you aren’t in the same room?” Access Ms. Huggett’s materials here.

LabelWise
FDA has mandated new label requirements for dietary supplement products to provide consumers with better information they need to make informed choices about their health. The agency has extended its policy of enforcement discretion in response to COVID-19, giving large companies through the remainder of 2020 to come into compliance. In the meantime, CRN’s LabelWise campaign offers a suite of educational materials to help retailers and consumers understand changes they will see on dietary supplement labels. Retailers can use these resources in their own communications with customers. Need customized materials with your company’s branding? Contact Gretchen Powers for help accessing native files.

Did you hear? LabelWise has been named a finalist for the 2020 NutraIngredients-USA Editors Award for Industry Initiative of the Year in recognition of its efforts to improve quality, transparency, consumer confidence and trust in the dietary supplements industry. Winners will be announced July 13!
